A Lecture by the Honorable Shirin Ebadi, September 9, 2006

The Honorable Shirin Ebadi, Winner of the 2003 Nobel Peace Prize, will lecture on "Human Rights, Islam and the West" at Dominican University of California, September 9, 2006.

This lecture is part of an ongoing Building Bridges of Understanding Educational Partnership between the International Association of Sufism and the Humanities Department of Dominican University of California. Plans are underway for the development of a future Islamic Studies Partnership for lectures and exchanges of faculty, students and community leaders with other universities and countries.
